What Fascinates me
I still remember my first headshot session 20 years ago. I was between two rows of bleachers in a cold ice rink. And I loved every minute of it. I was hooked capturing the nuances of expression and how a passing thought could change the vibe of the photo. I love photographing the human face and I still look forward to the moment someone forgets about the camera and starts feeling like themselves. Most people arrive a little nervous, and that’s normal. My studio in Groton, MA is quiet and unhurried. We stop to review the photos so you will quickly becoem engaged in the process.

Fun Facts about Me
I believe that TIME is a gift. I enjoy the connections I make with the people I photograph. I greatly value the one-on-one connection and I often stay in touch with my past clients.
I have been the photographer for the Scott Hamilton Cares foundation annual show in Nashville for ten years and I occasionally work with them on other projects.
I keep it REAL! I use the same basic tools that have made great portraits for generations. Studying light is an obsession of mine. AI doesn’t generate or invent anything in my shooting process, from the capture through the final print. What you see is real.
